Fantastic Speakers, May 5, 2011 This review is from: Rockford Fosgate Power T1693 6x9" Full Range 3-way Coaxial Speakers (Electronics) Bought these off of ebay but thought they were so awesome, I decided to write a review on here.
These speakers are just all around awesome. The treble and mids are FANTASTIC. They are clear, precise, and can be cranked. The bass is very good and the only reason I say that the bass isn't fantastic is because these are some huge speakers with some huge magnets so you really need a powerful radio or separate amp to power these to get the full bass. My radio distorts the music when I turn the bass up really high because my radio is only like 15W per channel. Works extremely well if you upgrade later to a sub to separate the highs and mids to these speakers and the bass left the subs.

-Work great if you use with a subwoofer and use a high pass filter for the bass and just let them play the trebel and mids which is where they REALLY shine.

Im using a good amp to power them and they hit so hard. The bass is so deep and strong, pretty much like having a 12in sub in your trunk. The mids are also very loud, crisp, and clear. These 6x9's are kinda expensive but totally worth it.

The difference is huge! They are way louder and clearer. I can now turn it up without any distortion.I haven't seen wat these babies are capable of yet because there wired to the deck, but plan on getting an amp soon. The only bad thing i can say about them is that they are bulky and might not fit just rite, but other than that great speakers.
