I had these put into my 2006 Subaru Impreza today, and they sound fantastic. Very crisp highs and impressive bass from relatively small speakers. I don't have a fancy audio deck ($200 Kenwood) that outputs 21-Watts RMS per channel, and these speakers run very nicely on it. I imagine that they would sound even better with a good quality amplifier, which I don't have. I'm very pleased with these speakers.

I recently bought a 2012 Scion XB with the base Pioneer sound system and IMHO the highs were terrible (annoyingly edgy) and the overall sound flat sounding. I'm a musician, have built a couple of recording studios and listen to almost all my music driving in the car ('60s-'70s Classic Rock, old R&B and some oldies). What an improvement these made! I've always been a Boston Acoustics fan for the warm sound and these didn't dissapoint. The highs are clear as a bell, a couple of acoustic guitar passages are soooo realistic and the real suprise was the bass. I was figuring to eventually add a sub when I saw that 55hz but no, the bass is smokin'! They arrived in a couple of days and I am totally satisfied with this upgrade.

I had these put into my '10 Challenger and they sound incredible! I put SC60 components up front, and SC65 coaxials in the rear deck. I'm running an Infinity Kappa Five 5-channel amp and a single 10" JBL woofer with a Pioneer P3200DVD head unit. I was not going for a bass-heavy system, I was going for well rounded audio on a budget and believe I nailed it. The sound is so incredibly well balanced in every genre I've tried (just about everything). I've always been one to upgrade sound systems in my vehicles, and so far, this is best setup. Mids are solid, highs from the tweeters are crystal clear (without being shrill and piercing). In recent builds, I had used Alpine and Rockford Fosgate speakers.. neither of which I was terribly impressed with. Finally found something I'm truly happy with. Rock on Boston Acoustics. Highly recommended.
