I have a 2011 F150 and wanted to add an aftermarket radio and retain the sync functions. This cable works perfectly. You must have an aux. input on your radio for it to work. I did and it is perfect. It automatically switches to the aux input when you get a call or want to use sync.The radio also mutes when you get a call. It also is all set up to use the PAC steering wheel control add on for your aftermarket radio volume and channel up/down. No cutting or splicing wires.

you are going to need this for any after market stereo mods because the newer mustangs come with a stock amp programed only for the stock stereo. if you are in the uk i would recommend ordering from amazon.com because it is quoted at about 150 pounds in the uk at stereo dealers.
