Yes, the Harman following Infinity is the same Harman that founded Harman Karden over fifty years ago and made the brand synonymous with the best to be found.
More than a few years back I had purchased a set of very good Kenwood KFC-X698 speakers. They were seldom used and only then with a Kenwood eXcelon headunit. That gave them a good break-in for another vehicle using a recent addition of a 4-channel Kenwood KAC-6404 amplifier - offering 40 watts of RMS power per channel in that car. I can say they really came alive for the first time in years - offering improved bass, sweeter highs, and clarity that even the most discriminating listener would appreciate.
Are the Infinity's better? The answer is a clear-cut yes! I paid less for the Infinity Kappa 693.9i speakers through Amazon than I paid for the KFC-X698 Kenwood speakers... Read more
